Center for Disease Control (CDC) COVID-19 Travel Recommendations by Country


Widespread transmission of COVID-19 has been reported globally. For information about travel within the United States, visit Coronavirus and Travel in the United States


If you recently returned from travel to the United States

  • Stay home for 14 days after returning, monitor your health, and practice social distancing

  • Avoid contact with sick people

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol

Level 3 Travel Health Notice: Widespread ongoing transmission with restrictions on entry to the United States CDC recommends that travelers avoid all nonessential travel to the following destinations. Most foreign nationals who have been in one of these countries during the previous 14 days will not be allowed to enter the United States.
