County announces changes in Standard Operating Procedures for the Department of Parks and Recreation


The County of Kaua‘i announces the following changes in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Wailua Golf Course in order to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of the people of Kaua‘i from the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).


Effective immediately, the maximum number of players in a group has increased from four to six. Groups of six players are required to use motorized golf carts and keep an acceptable pace of play.


As a reminder, payments are being accepted via credit or debit card, as well as cash transactions.
