COVID-19 testing locations in Senate District 3 (Kona, Ka‘ū)

The following organizations are conducting testing for COVID-19 for patients who meet screening criteria. A physician's order is required to collect a specimen for screening. Patients need to bring their ID and insurance card. Kaiser Permanente – Kona • 75-517 Honokōhau Street, Kailua-Kona • (808) 334-4400 • 8am – 5pm, Monday - Friday • Kaiser patients only. Please call ahead and speak to an advice nurse. Walk-ins are not accepted. Kaʻū Hospital and Rural Health Clinic • 1 Kamani Street, Pāhala • (808) 932-4200 • 24/7 • Please call ahead for screening. Walk-ins accepted at the ER. St. Jude's Episcopal Church – Administered by Aloha Critical Care • 92-8606 Paradise Mauka Circle, Ocean View • (808) 747-8321 • Every other Wednesday • To bypass the screening queue at community test sites, patients can call ahead to Pathways Telehealth, option 5. The free clinic will also offer on-site screening to meet testing criteria. Please note, physicians automatically qualify and are urged to seek testing. West Hawaiʻi Community Health Center • 75-5751 Kuakini Highway, Ste. 104, Kailua-Kona • (808) 326-5629 • 9am – 4pm, Monday - Saturday • Please call ahead for screening. Walk-ins accepted. New patients are welcome with picture ID and insurance cards.

Please note, Premier Medical Group is also working on future drive-thru testing sites for Senate District 3. Currently, drive-thru testing is being conducted at Nāʻālehu Community Center on Wednesdays. This is subject to change.
