Governor David Ige released $5,000,000.00 in capital improvement

project funding (CIP) to finance design and construction for a girls’ athletic locker room at Waiākea High School.


“I’m thrilled that Governor Ige has committed to funding design and construction plans for a girls’ athletic locker room at Waiākea High School,” said Senator Lorraine R. Inouye (District 4 – Hilo, Pauka‘a, Papaikou, Pepe‘ekeo). “It's imperative that Hawaiʻi's student athletes have adequate facilities to enable their extracurricular growth.”
