STATEMENT FROM SENATE PRESIDENT KOUCHI REGARDING SPECIAL SESSION FOR 2025

HONOLULU – Senate President Ronald D. Kouchi (District 8 – Kauaʻi, Niʻihau) today issued a statement regarding the convening of a special session for 2025:   

“After reviewing the Governor’s veto list and the measures he ultimately signed into law, the Hawaiʻi State Senate determined that a special session to override the veto is not warranted at this time.”
